James Pollerana is a corporate development manager for the Movember Foundation, the global charity that raises funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically; prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. In his role, Pollerana is responsible for the implementation and expansion of corporate participation, both during the foundation’s annual fundraising/awareness campaign, and year-round. Since joining the Movember Foundation in 2016, he has been gung-ho, working with its community to promote participation, retention, engagement, and fundraising in support of the foundation’s goal to stop men from dying too young. Pollerana graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in history and minor in Mexican-American studies. Currently residing in Los Angeles with his wife and young daughter, when he is not selling moustaches, you can find Pollerana engaging with his fellow Angelenos as the Montecito Heights Representative on the Arroyo Seco Neighborhood Council.
